The first transplanted hair falls out at the end of the first month, begins to grow 2-3 months after transplantation. The first 10 days after the operation, the transplantation area should be carefully protected. The first washing after transplantation is usually recommended to be performed on the 3rd day. After the shampoo is foamed in the hand, it is put on the entire head without rubbing. Rinsing is performed using a shower head with lukewarm water with little pressure. If the scalp is left clean by the surgical team at the end of the operation, no special washing process is required after the operation. The patient can easily wash himself at home. Soothing lotions are applied daily to the transplantation area to remove the small amount of crusting that occurs in the first 10 days.

It is not recommended to swim in the pool and sea for the first month due to hygienic reasons. At the end of the first month, the patient can go on a sea vacation.
